Japanese inspired flowers

I’ve been sick these past few days, close to a week now. Today is the first day I’ve begun to feel somewhat normal again, but I’m definitely not up to full speed yet.

Luckily,  I sometimes think ahead to have some “back-up” manicures that I can just post whenever time, or other things, prohibits me from doing my nails. This manicure was always planned to go up around easter, because when I wore it, my boyfriend said it looked very easter appropriate. Probably because of the yellow polish.

I really love the soft look of japanse/korean/asian inspired manicures that’s been going around the internet lately. This manicure was inspired by that look, and more specifically by this manicure.

Japanese Flowers 1Japanese Flowers 2D’you know that feeling: You love a manicure while you wear it, but once you get around to editing photos or posting them, you’re not really sure if you like it anymore, or like it enough to show the world?

Polishes used:

  • Sally Hansen – Go Bananas
  • OPI – Alpine Snow
  • White acrylic paint
